Advancing Coating Performance through Additive Innovation

Borchers: A Milliken Brand is returning to Paint India 2026, taking place February 19th –21st, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai, India. As one of the region’s leading trade shows for the coatings and paints industry, Paint India brings together formulators, manufacturers, and technical experts to explore innovation across coating additives, resin systems, and application performance. 

At the show, Borchers will share insights into coating additive technologies designed to support formulation efficiency, reliable performance, and durability across markets. 

Coating Innovation Highlights at the Borchers Booth  

Visit the Borchers booth to explore the latest in coating additive technologies. Our technical team will be highlighting: 

Borchi^® Gen wetting and dispersing agents for a variety of pigments, including NEW additives developed for co-grind applications in industrial solventborne coatings:

• Borchi Gen 5113 (for organic and carbon black pigments)
• Borchi Gen 5115 (for TiO₂ and iron oxide pigments)
• Borchi Gen 0311 (for multiple pigments)

These additives help improve pigment wetting, dispersion efficiency, and color consistency across various pigment types.

Borchi Gol defoaming and surface actives for epoxy floor coatings will be featured for their ability to enhance aesthetics, durability, and application performance, supporting smooth finishes and long-term wear in demanding environments.

Other defoamer solutions include Borchi Burst and Borchers AF defoamers.

Borchi Gen AOD, a NEW adhesion promoter for difficult metal substrates. This additive provides improved chemical solvent resistance of polyester amino coatings.

Milliken’s Technical Service Laboratory in Pune now offers enhanced capabilities to support regional coating formulators. The facility provides hands-on testing and development with high-performance coating additives, including cobalt-free driers, tin-free catalysts, dispersants, and rheology modifiers, helping customers meet local market and regulatory requirements. 

Paint India Conference Presentation

We will be participating in the conference portion of Paint India, presenting on “Advancing Waterborne and Water-Reducible Alkyds with a High-Performance Catalyst.”

This presentation will showcase how our Borchi OXY-Coat 1101 high-performance catalyst for alkyd emulsions ensures uniform through-drying and eliminates common defects, resulting in faster surface and through-dry times, brighter whites, improved gloss, and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to cobalt driers facing regulatory scrutiny.
