Poor substrate wetting on the right, good substrate wetting on the left
Borchi® Gol 1570 reduces surface tension in a wide range of solvent- and water-based systems. This additive improves substrate wetting on even the most challenging substrate surfaces. It enhances flow and leveling properties and eliminates surface defects such as cratering, pinholes, and fish eyes.
Adding Borchi® Gol 1570 helps overcome the surface tension around these particles to form a smooth finish before the film solidifies. This eliminates defects like cratering (seen above)
Borchi® Gol 1570 improves slip properties when used in combination with Borchi® Gol LA 2 or Borchi® Gol LA 232 flow and leveling agents.| Appearance | Clear liquid |

The correct dosage of Borchi® Gol 1570 depends upon the type of system and desired effect. Suggested amounts range from 0.05 and 0.30 % based on the weight of the total formulation. The exact amount depends on the formulation and should be experimentally determined.
Protect from the effects of weathering and store at temperatures between 10 and 40 °C. Once opened, containers should be resealed immediately after each removal of the product to avoid exposure to water and atmospheric moisture as much as possible.
