Borchi® Gol PL prevents leveling issues in paints and coatings
Borchi® Gol PL inhibits the formation of surface defects like orange peel and craters. Orange peel is the inability of a coating to overcome varying surface tension issues because of varying film thicknesses, rapid solvent evaporation, and/or coating incompatibility.
Orange peel
Flow and leveling properties in Borchi® Gol PL resolve orange peel issues in coatings. Solvent evaporation leaves behind a very viscous film which effectively freezes defects in place. These small indentations, or craters, can be caused by poorly dispersed defoamers or contaminants caught in the film like dust or dirt.
Craters
Borchi® Gol PL helps overcome the surface tension around these particles to form a smooth finish before the film solidifies.| Appearance | Clear liquid |

The recommended dosage is 0.02 % to 0.20 % of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder systems and which property is being addressed.
Protect from the effects of weathering and store at temperatures between 5 and 30 °C. Once opened, containers should be resealed immediately after each removal of the product.
