Improving Regulatory Compliance with Tin-Free Solutions 

In polyurethane coatings, catalysts are essential to achieving the right balance between drying speed, hardness, and pot life. Tin-based catalysts like dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL) have historically offered strong performance in these areas, but at the cost of environmental and regulatory challenges.  In the European Union, under REACH and CLP Regulations, appropriate labeling is required in products containing more than 0.1% of DBTDL.
