High molecular weight dispersing agent for solvent-based polyurethane co-grinding coatings; compatible with multiple pigments

Other solutions for co-grinding pigments include:
- Borchi® Gen 5115 for TiO2 and iron oxide pigments
- Borchi® Gen 5113 for organic and carbon black pigments
Physical Characteristics
Appearance Clear, slight yellow liquid Non-volatile content 45 % Density 0.96 – 0.98 g/cm3 Viscosity Max. 500 cPs Solvent(s) Butyl Acetate / Xylene / Methoxy propyl acetate Features
- Designed to be compatible with different type of pigments, enabling co-grinding for industrial coating applications
- Specifically designed for dispersing difficult organic pigments and carbon black
- Low viscosity dispersant for convenient and precise dosing
- High jetness with carbon black
- Long-term dispersion stability
Applications
- Coatings
- Industrial
- Automotive
- Protective and Marine
- Coatings
Dosage
Depending on the pigment grade, the recommended dosage is:
- Inorganic pigments: 0.5 – 3%
- Organic pigments: 15 – 35 %
- Medium black: 40 – 50 %
- High jetness carbon black: 70 – 100 %
The exact dosage should be experimentally determined through a ladder study. Borchi® Gen 0311 should be added to the mill base before adding the pigment.
Storage
Protect from the effects of weather and store at temperatures between 15 and 30 °C. Once opened, containers should be resealed immediately after each removal of the product.
