          • Rheology Modifier – Borchers offers a product line of additives for rheology modification. Borchi® Gel additives are associative and non-associative rheology modifiers for water-based coatings and paints. The Borchi® Gel product line offers low to high shear range polyurethane, acrylic, and zirconium complex thickeners to ensure optimal flow and leveling combined with anti-sag performance. Our additives have a significant influence on the storage stability and application properties of the coatings system.           • Flow & Leveling – Borchers offers a range of high-performance flow and leveling additives for coatings and paints. Our Borchi® Gol product line contains modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and acrylic additives. Borchi® Gol products reduce the surface tension of the coating. This improves flow, substrate wetting, and slip. Many surface defects – such as fisheyes and cratering – are related to surface tension. By correcting or reducing the surface tension of coating systems and paints, most of these defects can be resolved. The Borchi® Gol,  Borchi® Burst, and Borchers® AF product lines contain modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and non-silicone defoamers designed for water- and solvent-based coating and paint systems.           • Moisture Scavengers – Borchers offers two moisture scavenger products: Additive TI and Additive OF. Moisture scavengers are used to chemically eliminate water in solvent borne systems via different mechanisms, thereby reducing the chance of moisture-related issues. Common moisture-related issues are gloss reduction, haze formation, and foam generation in polyurethane coatings. Additive TI is a 100% active, highly reactive isocyanate moisture scavenger for polyurethane. It can be used in 2K polyurethane systems and moisture-cured 1K polyurethane systems to dehydrate raw materials, such as pigments, fillers, and solvents. Additive TI provides short-term dehydration. Additive OF is a 100% active moisture scavenger for polyurethane. It can be used as a package stabilizer in 1K and 2K polyurethane systems. Additive OF provides long-term dehydration and improved storage stability.
